At Hoe Bridge our main intakes are in September at the start of the academic year at our key entry points above. However, as long as there is a space available, children can join us in other year groups and throughout the school year.
Children can join Hoe Bridge Nursery in the September following their 2nd birthday. Our Nursery is a two year programme with children joining Twigs in the first year and moving up to Acorns in the second year.
Our Reception year comprises of three classes, each with a maximum of 21 children to enable effective and close teaching relationships lead by a teacher and teaching assistant.
We welcome many children from different Nurseries, bringing exciting opportunities to make new friendships.
Depending on spaces we welcome a small number of children to our Prep School at the beginning of Year 3.
Each year group in Years 3 and 4 comprises three separate classes with a maximum size of 21. From Year 3, we introduce setting for Maths and English across four sets, and from Year 4 for French across three sets. This helps us to provide personalised teaching in terms of both content and the most suitable pace of learning for your child.
If spaces are available, we welcome children in Year 7.
Year 7 supports increased focus on student-led education and self-discovery and prepares your child for Senior school.
The main things we believe that most parents want from a senior school are the ability to challenge their child to do and be the best they can, prepare them well for GCSEs and education beyond, support their development into responsible citizens and ensure their time at school is happy and fulfilling.
At Hoe Bridge Senior School, we share the same goals for your child.
A step-by-step guide to school fees and deposits, explaining what is paid and when.
Hoe Bridge offer honorary scholarships, which carry no discount on fees and a small number of scholarships which carry a percentage fee reduction that is decided by the school.
