School trips are an integral part of our Senior School calendar. Trips bring essential context to our pupils’ classroom-based learning and enable them to experience other cultures, languages and habitats at first hand, in turn fostering a greater understanding of the wider world and embracing of inclusion.
We organise school trips throughout the year, from theatre visits to London to residential trips both within the UK and to Europe and further afield, ensuring that all are relevant, engaging, enjoyable, safe and represent good value for money.
All Year 9 pupils are encouraged to work towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE). The programme helps pupils to develop skills, resilience, and confidence through a series of challenges in four areas: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition. The challenge culminates in an overnight expedition where pupils can put their skills to the test!
