Our Reception year comprises of three classes, each with a maximum of 21 children to enable effective and close teaching relationships lead by a teacher and teaching assistant. Our Hoe Bridge Nursery children all seamlessly moved up to Reception as well as us welcoming children from other Nurseries, bringing exciting opportunities to make new friendships.

Hoe Bridge School meet all propective children before a place is offered into our Nursery and Reception classes. Admissions is extremely busy so please register your child for a place at Hoe Bridge School early by completing our online registration form and paying the £100 registration fee HERE.
The offer of a place is sent to parents in the Summer Term, one year before the child's entry to the school. You will be required to sign our school contract and pay a £750 deposit within two weeks of your offer to confirm your child’s place. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable if you choose not to take up the place.
On accepting a place, children joining our Reception classes visit Hoe Bridge for settling-in sessions in the Autumn, Spring and Summer Term in the academic year before they join. This is a chance to meet our teaching staff and make new friends ensuring a smooth transition and an exciting start to you all joining the Hoe Bridge family!
All children must be in by 8.55am for the morning register. We also run a free early class which allows you to drop off from 8.20am (siblings of Prep children from 8.10am) until 8.55am. Half day children go home before lunch at 12.15pm and full day children stay until 3.20pm.

We offer wraparound care with a breakfast club starting at 7.30am and after school care until 6.30pm. Further information and costs can be found HERE.
