Children can join Hoe Bridge Nursery in the September following their 2nd birthday. Our Nursery is a two year programme with children joining Twigs in the first year and moving up to Acorns in the second year. As a through school all children automatically transition into Reception and beyond at Hoe Bridge.

Hoe Bridge School meet all propective children before a place is offered into our Nursery. Admissions is extremely busy so please register your child for a place at Hoe Bridge School early by completing our online registration form and paying the £100 registration fee HERE.
The offer of a place is sent to parents in the Summer Term, one year before the child's entry to Hoe Bridge. You will be required to sign our school contract and pay a £1,000 deposit within two weeks of your offer to confirm your child’s place. £250 of this deposit is refunded against the first term’s Reception fees. The remaining £750 deposit will be refunded at the end of your time at Hoe Bridge or by providing a term's notice of withdrawal if leaving sooner. Deposits are not reimbursed if a pupil leaves whilst in or at the end of Nursery.
On accepting a place, children joining our Nursery and Reception classes visit Hoe Bridge for settling-in sessions in the Autumn, Spring and Summer Term in the academic year before they join. This is a chance to meet our teaching staff and make new friends ensuring a smooth transition and an exciting start to you all joining the Hoe Bridge family!
In the first year of Nursery (Twigs) the number of sessions children can attend is flexible. In the second year of Nursery (Acorns) we ask for a minimum of 3 mornings up to October half term and 5 mornings thereafter. We then ask you to add any two afternoons in the Summer Term.
All children must be in by 8.55am for the morning register. We also run a free early class which allows you to drop off from 8.20am (siblings of Prep Children from 8.10am) until 8.55am. Half day children go home before lunch at 12.15pm and full day children stay until 3.20pm.

We offer wraparound care with a breakfast club starting at 7.30am and after school care until 6.30pm. Further information and costs can be found HERE.
Hoe Bridge also offers holiday camps under Hoe Bridge Camps for 9 weeks a year providing childcare for up to 43 weeks. In Nursery, holiday camps are only open to Hoe Bridge Nursery children. Click HERE for further information.
In Nursery we have a 1:4 ratio for children aged 2 years old and a maximum ratio of 1:8 for older children. When children move into Reception we have a maximum of 21 children in each of our three Reception classes with a teacher and teaching assistant.
